Shame Shame Shame AJN watch .

It beggars belief that a blog site that claims to represent the orthodox Jewish community in Melbourne could stoop so low as to publish an article that contends that the New Zealand earthquakes were a response form G-D due to the attempted banning of Shechita in that country. It posts pictures of the tragedy along side comments such as  "So who knows? Maybe there is some link between Shechita bans and earthquakes.."
Well AJN watch  have done just that. The title

WARNING: "Don't start with Shechita!"

Any wonder why people see the traditional method of slaughter as some ancient archaic ritual along with those that promote it. The editors should be ashamed of themselves to even contemplate that victims of the quake died  because of an attempted  ban of a Jewish practice. Thank you for helping those anti -Semites who would see your article like water for a thirsty man.

Thank goodness one commentator on your blog had this to say "How odd. Germany passes laws 60 years ago banning all sorts of jewish activity and then goes on to kill 6 million of us and no earthquakes. One left leaning paper publishes one article and "kaboom". G-d does work in an unusual way!"

Overseeing the "pundits"

Somehow there never seems to be enough blogs telling us what you read elsewhere is full of misinformation or just plain wrong. So I guess this is just another one of those blogs with the aim of making sure that those who keep an eye over everyone else's shoulder also now have to keep an eye out on their own musings.

I am guessing it wont be pretty, but hey that's the blogster jungle for you.

So if you have some concerns about what AJN watch posts and you would like to let us know, please feel free to post and be judgemental. Express your opinion. But please be nice about it. We don't want to become just another hate site that judges and presumes that our opinion is the only one that matters.
